Creative Writing Workshop
altCreative Writing Workshop with Judith Azrael     A new creative writing workshop with local author and writing instructor Judith Azrael begins Saturday, February 16th!  We are pleased to announce we are taking reservations beginning Thursday, January 24th for a four week Creative Writing Workshop with local author, Judith Azrael.  This writing workshop commences on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 from 1 pm to 4 pm and will meet for four consecutive Saturday afternoon sessions in the Library Meeting Room.  We have room for 12 participants in this exciting program.  The workshop will be a place to present your writing to a warm supportive group, to get help with editing, discuss any problems you are having, talk about publishing and share in the joys and difficulties of writing.  Any level of writing experience is welcome and any genre including poetry, memoirs, stories, journals, parts of novels and travel writing.

Judith Azrael has taught writing for many years at universities, community colleges and art centers.  Her work has appeared widely in magazines.  Four books of her poetry and a collection of her stories and lyric essays hve been published.

If you register for this workshop Ms. Azrael requests that you bring a two to three page sample of your writing (12 copies of the sample, please) ready to share with the group at the first class on February 16th.
