| Getting Started on Computers |
 Starting Monday, April 22nd from 3pm to 5pmRegister now for our 4-session computer course held in the computer lab at Skagit Valley College located at 221 Weber Way in Friday Harbor. There are only 9 spaces available in this course taught by Beth Helstien, Outreach Coordinator at the library. You may register at the Circulation Desk in the Library or by telephone at 378-2798. The course sessions are as follows: Monday, April 22nd: This is a Computer, Use the Mouse Wednesday, April 24th: Use email, attachments, contacts Monday, April 29th: Search the Web, online accounts, security Wednesday, May 1st: Windows: files, folders, documents, and review In 4 short sessions over a two week period you too can learn the basics of the computer, begin to search the internet and send and receive emails. This free course is provided by the Library and we thank Skagit Valley College for the use of their computer lab to make this a great learning experience for these 4 classes. |
